POLYCOTE CWP ADMIX (L) crystalline waterproofing liquid admixture is an integral crystalline capillary waterproofing admixture for concrete. These active chemicals react with the moisture in fresh concrete with the by-products of cement hydration to cause a reaction, which generates an insoluble crystalline deposit throughout the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete. Uses: 1. Building Basement and foundations Sewage and water treatment plants 2. Highways, dams & canals 3. Tunnels, Harbors, and subway systems 4. Water reservoirs, Concrete pipes, Parking structures, Pre- Cast, Cast-in-Place, and Shotcrete applications 5. Swimming pools, Retaining walls & sea defense walls, Jetty Benefits: 1. Reduces penetration of water and other liquids 2. Can seal hairline cracks up to 0.4 mm & resist positive and negative side hydrostatic pressure 3. Protects against sewage and industrial wastes 4. Less expensive than traditional methods added to the concrete at the time of batching and therefore is not subject to climatic restraints 5. It is compatible with a most concrete admixture
